Special Note on Live Plants: Our products are guaranteed to leave the greenhouse true to name/species and arrive to you in good shape. We do not guarantee our plants against neglect or mishandling after they arrive, so please follow planting instructions carefully. Once the plants are in the ground, we cannot assume responsibility for them.

About Shipping and Handling
We use two schedules for shipping & handling charges—one for hard goods and one for plants. Bulbs, seeds, and bare-root plants use the hard goods shipping schedule.

Shipping charges are per delivery address. We ship hard goods to the U.S., Canada, and U.S. Possessions only. Payment of all foreign duties and taxes is the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping charges are per delivery address. We ship Live Goods within the contiguous U.S. only.

Most of our plants are sold in collections. All collections include a minimum of three 2-1/2" to 3-1/2" potted plants. However some collections include more than three plants. Plant quantities are listed for the collection on the product description page. Our live goods shipping and handling charges are based on the total number of plants being shipped, and is automatically calculated.

To reserve your plants and ensure shipment on the appropriate date for your zone, we request payment at time of order.

How We Ship Plants
All live plants (not bulbs) are shipped FedEx or UPS 3-Day Air. All other plants ship UPS ground, please allow 10-14 days for delivery. We use an excellent boxing system so your live plants will arrive safely.

Note: we cannot ship to a Post Office Box. Please provide Street Address only.

When We Ship Plants?
We ship live plants when it's safe to plant them outdoors in your area according to the USDA horticultural zone map. Find your zone. We encourage you to order early for the optimal arrival of your order. If you order after shipping to your growing zone has begun, please allow two to three weeks for delivery.

Seeds - ship year-round, five days a week.
Bare-root plants - ship 5 days a week in season.
Daylilies - ship from July to mid-September. Our grower will determine the proper ship date to your zone.
Hostas - ship weekly from mid-September to mid-October. Our grower will determine the proper ship date for your zone.
Irises - ship weekly in August. Our grower will determine the proper ship time to your zone.
Peonies - ship weekly from mid-September to mid-October. Our grower will determine the proper ship date to your zone.
